Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus, the corded default
Maytronics' Nautilus CC Plus is the corded inground robot with the long owner record. Walls yes. A simple weekly timer. A cable you have to live with.
Choose the Nautilus CC Plus when you want the boring, well-known corded clean and your pool is a straightforward inground bowl. Do not choose it for a spotless tile line. That is a different Dolphin, or a cordless climber that actually lists the waterline.

- Corded, runs from its own power supply, not the pool pump

What holds up
- No battery to age out in year three
- Swivel cable is designed to spin instead of kinking
- Weekly timer can run a two-hour cycle without you remembering

- Cleans without loading the pool pump
What to doubt
- The cable is in the pool every cycle. Ladders and return jets will grab it
- Waterline scrubbing is not this model's job. Higher Dolphin models claim that
- You lift a wet, full-size robot at the end. There is no surface-parking trick
- The live title and older length claims do not match. Measure your pool before you trust either number
What you are buying
The Nautilus CC Plus is Maytronics' mainstream corded robot. CleverClean scans the pool and picks a path instead of wandering. The weekly timer can fire a cycle every day, every other day, or every third day, then the supply wants to be programmed again at the end of the week. Power comes from the Dolphin supply, not from a booster pump, so you are not paying pump watts to vacuum.
Filters are top-load cartridges. The classic kit includes two sets, which matters: rinse one, run the other, and do not let a cartridge dry into a brick of silt. A clogged cartridge is the most common reason a healthy Dolphin suddenly paints a dirt line.
The cable is the compromise
The swivel is real. The cable can rotate so it kinks less than a cheap cord. It can still wrap a ladder, a handrail, or itself. Route the cable so the robot can reach the far wall with slack left over, keep the supply well back from the water, and plug into a GFCI outlet. Never lift the robot by the cable. Pull gently until it is at the wall, let it drain on the edge, then lift the handle.
If the cord is the thing you hate, stop here and look at the SAT25 or the AquaSense 2. You will trade a cable for a battery with a finite life. That is a fair trade for some pools and a bad one for others.
Walls, not the stripe at the surface
This model climbs and scrubs walls. Dolphin's own comparison chart has long marked waterline cleaning as absent on the CC Plus and present on Supreme-class machines. If the ring at the tile is the reason you are shopping, this is the wrong Dolphin. A weekly wall cycle still knocks down a lot of film below the line, and your brush still owns the last inch.
Questions before you buy
Does the Nautilus CC Plus clean the waterline?
It climbs walls. Dolphin's lineup chart does not give this model a waterline-scrubbing check. Budget a brush for the tile line, or pick a robot that lists waterline cleaning.
Does it use my pool pump?
No. It has its own power supply. The pool pump can stay on its normal schedule. You still want the water circulating, but the robot is not a suction-side cleaner.
