DEENO
DEENO Hydro 4 corded cleaner
The corded Chasing Hydro 4 from DEENO is a continuous-power inground cleaner with a 49-foot cable, dual pumps, and a large fine basket.
The Hydro 4 earns a place as the corded machine for a dirty inground pool, not as a default recommendation. Buy it when leaves overwhelm a cordless robot. If the waterline scrub is the whole point and the pool is shorter, compare the Hydro 4 SE before you check out.

Continuous power is the point
DEENO, under the Chasing name on the title, sells this Hydro 4 as a plug-in cleaner for opening season. Dual turbine pumps are rated at 5,070 gallons per hour. You choose a zone: auto for floor, walls, and waterline; wall-enhanced for floor plus walls; or floor only. Then you choose an hour, two hours, or three. When the cycle ends it is supposed to climb to the waterline and wait.
The basket is 4.1 liters with 180 micron mesh, and the spec block also mentions a 50 micron screen. That is a real step up from a 300 micron cordless tray if silt is the enemy. Both doors open, which is how a basket this size stays usable. Rinse it before it becomes a mud brick.
The cable and the app
Forty-nine feet sounds long until the supply sits ten feet back from the coping and the pool is forty feet on the diagonal. Walk the cable path before you buy. GFCI only. Do not lift by the cord.
The app can schedule, delay, or steer, on Bluetooth or a cloud connection. DEENO says Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz only and that you should be within about 10 feet for the local link. Underwater, expect the radio to drop. The robot should finish the cycle it already started. If you need to change mode, bring it to the wall first.
Questions before you buy
Is the Hydro 4 cordless?
This ASIN is the corded Hydro 4 with a 49-foot cable. DEENO also sells a cordless Hydro 4 under other ASINs. Read the title before you add it to the cart.
How fine is the filter?
The basket is listed at 180 micron in a 4.1 liter tray. That catches more fine debris than a 300 micron cordless basket.
