AIPER
Aiper Seagull Pro for inground pools
Aiper's Seagull Pro is a quad-motor cordless climber with WavePath navigation and a 150-minute claim for pools up to 1,600 square feet.
The Seagull Pro is the sensible cordless climber when the pool is under about 1,600 square feet and you want a known brand with a two-year window. It is the wrong buy for a very large pool or for someone who needs the waterline done at the start of every cycle rather than after the floor.

What holds up
- WavePath is a planned route, which usually beats a robot that ping-pongs
- Four-wheel drive and a wall mode, not only a floor scrub
- Two-year coverage and a brand owners already know how to reach
- 150 minutes is enough for many residential inground pools
What to doubt
- Coverage claim is 1,600 square feet, short of the SAT25 and far short of the AquaSense 2
- In auto mode, wall cleaning waits until the battery falls under about half, per Aiper's own troubleshooting note
- The review count on this colorway is still modest
- Periodic or weekly scheduling is a different Aiper model, not this dial
How WavePath changes the clean
Random robots look busy and leave lanes. WavePath is Aiper's patterned route: the machine tries to cover the bowl in a repeatable path instead of bouncing until the battery dies. On a simple rectangle that shows up as fewer missed stripes. On a freeform pool it still cannot see the future, but it is a better default than chaos.
Power is a quad-motor layout, listed around 196 watts and a flow figure near 80 gallons per minute on Aiper's broader Seagull Pro copy. The battery is 7,800 mAh, with up to 150 minutes and a 3 to 4 hour recharge. Modes are floor, wall, and auto.
The auto-mode surprise
Aiper's own note on this family says automatic mode cleans the floor in an S pattern first. Walls and the waterline in an N pattern start after the battery drops below about 50 percent. Below about 10 percent it parks on the wall. If you drop it in, come back in 40 minutes, and the waterline is untouched, the robot may be doing exactly what auto mode does. Use wall mode when the ring is the job.
Traction comes from the drive, not from a miracle tread. Algae film, a freshly shocked pool, or a basket packed with leaves will stop a climb. Rinse the basket with a hose after every cycle. Aiper also warns that machines ship water-tested, so a damp box is not a defect.
Against the SAT25
Both are cordless climbers in a similar battery size. The SAT25 claims more area and more minutes, with a published 300 micron basket and almost no review trail. The Seagull Pro claims less area, a named navigation pattern, a two-year window, and a brand with a support habit. For a mid-size inground pool, that support history is the reason to pay attention to Aiper. For a larger bowl where the extra 30 minutes and the larger coverage number matter, start with the SAT25 spec and accept the thinner track record.
Questions before you buy
Why will the Seagull Pro not climb in auto mode?
On this platform, auto mode finishes a floor pattern before it spends the second half of the battery on walls and the waterline. Switch to wall mode if the ring is today's job.
What pool size is it for?
